"Venice Magic" One of my favorite travels in Europe was 2 weeks in Italy, traveling with a rail pass and no itinerary. While we didn't make it to Venice, it has always seemed a magical city to me. I feel like I have been there from my reading the Inspector Guido Brunetti mystery series by Donna Leon (if you like mysteries, I highly recommend ). She thoroughly describes the social, political and architectural highlights of life in the city. It is the contrast of Vibrant with Warm colors of the country that inspires me to paint mediterranean scenes. Painting is Oil on stretched canvas. 16 x 20 inches.
