Sailin' the Flats

"Sailing on the Flats"      8x10 inch Oil on Canvas Board.    

While doing my Clinical Nursing education in Orlando, I would be in the Florida Keys any weekend I could,

While not sailing, we could walk out from shore and snorkel with hoards of tropical fish over healthy corral reefs.

One must now go out several miles off shore to find healthy reefs.

This painting reminds me of the joys of exploring the flats off the Florida keys.
